Kollect – The first yield-generating and IP-driven nonfungible token (NFT) collection book in the GameFi space is set to launch its first private collection book system in Q1 of 2022. This came after the successful public beta test of the product in Q4 of 2021. The private collection book system will allow users to earn a yield as high as 240% annual percentage yield (APY) when the product is launched. To do so, users need to stake their Kollect NFTs into their collection book and complete the collection as much as they can.

The market has been eager to see a paradigm shift in the current NFT market, where it’s still primarily driven by hype, speculation and a small group of niche collectors and short-term profit-taking investors. However, the market has been calling for a more utility-driven environment to allow NFT projects to transform into a long-term sustainable model so that more people can adopt and appreciate NFT and GameFi more comfortably. Kollect aims to pioneer that front, making the NFT space a more utility-friendly place.

Yield-generating NFTs

Kollect has lived up to this vision of making a change in the NFT market by introducing its Collection Book System. The Collection Book System has a unique built-in play-to-earn (P2E) feature, allowing users to strategically stake their cards in different collection books to earn rewards. This feature enables flexible gamification and earns functions for all the collecting activities.

In addition, Kollect will also release its in-house game launchpad. Games launched on Kollect can leverage the collection book system to enjoy a broader player base, while players can use the NFT cards they collected in the collection books to participate in the games. Users will also be able to grind through and play games to earn further rewards in the form of tokens, NFTs and more.

IP-driven

Thanks to partners like Toei and Daewon and their tremendous support, Kollect manages to bring some of the world-renowned household anime names to the platform. Titles such as Power Rangers, Munchie Kings, Ruler of the Land, Space Adventure Cobra and Chou Denji Taisen Victory Five are among them. Kollect can use these licensed IPs to make NFTs and produce games. It is believed that partnerships with globally recognized IPs will help drive NFT and GameFi adoption to the public and make blockchain technology more approachable to the masses. The project is expected to announce more IP partnerships in 2022.
